In order to further improve the recyclability and sustainability of its moulded parts, PARAT Technology will be using a new, steam-free PBF technology for processing particle foams in future. In close cooperation with the machine construction company FILL, a completely new production system has been realised for this purpose - for the first time completely without steam, but fully electric and particularly energy-efficient.

The new process enables precise control of the foam density, significantly reduced cycle times and, for the first time, the form-fit integration of sensitive electronic components. This makes it possible to produce highly functional lightweight components with ideal insulating properties - for example for sleeping area extensions in camper vans. The thermoplastic particle foams used are fully recyclable and make an important contribution to the circular economy.

The system installed at PARAT is the first of its kind and sets new standards in terms of sustainability, design freedom and cost-effectiveness.
